Professional Fire Protection was inaugurated in 1989 and incorporated in 1991. Since that time Professional Fire Protection has progressed and grown to become one of the leaders in the Fire Protection Industry. A strong commitment to service, work ethics and professionalism is our top priority, it’s so important to us that we show it in our name.

The owner, Terry Fantham has over 15 years of experience installing, inspecting, verifying and repairing all makes of fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, special suppression systems and related fire safety equipment. Our customers appreciate the extent of his knowledge and his commitment to public safety.

In order to maintain our current high levels of service, we require our Inspectors and Technicians to undergo extensive formal training. As a result of these requirements, our Technicians and Inspectors are recognized and certified by The Canadian Fire Alarm Association, Fire Protection & Safety Technician Diploma Program and the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. We also provide our employees with the opportunity to study the latest in technological advances and current Fire Code requirements on an ongoing basis.

Professional Fire is a retailer of several manufacturers, and as a result, we can provide verification of any additional Fire Protection Equipment that may be implemented into your Fire Protection system We can also readily access all other leading manufacturers’ equipment to provide compatible upgrades and repairs to existing equipment.

In the past few years, the Ontario Fire Code has been updated to provide more comprehensive laws governing residential housing units. These laws are termed “retrofit” laws and cover many structures that were previously not required by law to provide fire protection systems. Professional Fire Protection is familiar with all the national and provincial laws governing fire protection and can provide owners with recommendations so that their buildings will conform to these laws.

We are proud to maintain a high level of exceptional service by performing full ULC and NFPA inspections, all done according to these latest fire codes and standards which include performing proper sensitivity testing, full trip tests on dry sprinkler systems and sufficient signage throughout buildings for better evacuation procedures.
